2. Avoid alcohol – or completely stay away from a glass or a bottle hours before your flight, or during the flight. You know, alcohol has a dehydrating effect on your system. When you are dehydrated, your jet lag would be worse. While at it, it would also be a good idea if you avoid caffeine or other stimulants. Note: don’t forget about airport regulations about gels and liquids hand-carried past the check-in counter. Put them in a transparent zip-locked bag. Lotions or moisturizers in large bottles can be transferred to smaller bottles or sachets (just enough for the duration of your Philippine flights) so they will fit in your ziplock bag.

Move those muscles and joints
